When EDU4PlastiC Met Artificial Intelligence

The first photo shows our EDU4PlastiC team during the LTTA2 training in Varese: five people, one project banner and a serious commitment to tackling plastic pollution.

The second photo shows how artificial intelligence remembers the occasion.

Apparently, AI decided that the project needed fewer researchers and more cuddly ambassadors. It transformed the team into handmade characters—while carefully preserving our clothes, hairstyles, glasses and enthusiasm for the circular economy.

The result raises an important scientific question: Can education about plastic pollution become even more appealing when the educators look ready for a puppet show?

Joking aside, the two images share the same message. Education can take many forms, creativity can make complex environmental topics more approachable, and new technologies can help us communicate sustainability in unexpected ways.

The first image captures a real moment of collaboration. The second adds a little imagination. Together, they remind us that serious environmental challenges do not always require serious-looking communication.
