Dermol svetovanje d.o.o. is an SME located in Slovenia, specializing in web solutions, training & consulting. The company’s main scope of work is building online learning platforms & portals, websites, as well as co-creating digital strategies. Among activities, the company offers coaching targeting especially SMEs in Slovenia, where it can help owners, managers and employees make first steps into the digital world. Dermol svetovanje d.o.o. manages several online learning portals, some of them in the English language and one public portal in the Slovene language. On this portal (https://znanje.biz), the company authors some of the online courses; the topics of these courses help people to obtain some relevant knowledge about digital media, thus supporting digital literacy. One of the company’s activities is also technical support of online conferences and other online events for clients from Slovenia & abroad (Makelearn Conference, PiConf Conference).

dr. Valerij DERMOL

Dr Valerij Dermol has a research & teaching focus on management, organisational learning, and entrepreneurship. He combines these fields to deepen understanding of employees’ and management’s training & development and their influence on organisational learning performance and organisational effectiveness. He has been involved in many domestic and/or EU projects. He has worked as consultant & trainer on the topics of leadership, marketing and sales in a European-based international consultancy company and his own company.

Alenka Bernik Dermol has a BSc in electrical engineering and MSc in entrepreneurial studies. She is the director of Dermol svetovanje d.o.o., working as a certified digital business consultant. She is Google Certified - GAIQ Analytics Certification & AdWords Search Certification, skilled in Digital Marketing and SEO. She is an experienced website designer & developer, designing/developing websites for her clients (mostly SMEs). This process involves consulting; developing digital business strategies: building their online presence, finding channels to reach their digital persona and preparing suitable action plans. She creates and manages her clients’ social media presence, focusing on Facebook where she reaches their potential customers with targeted Ad campaigns. She is also building online e-learning platforms for different types of customers.

Špela Dermol

Špela DERMOL, dipl. graf. kom.

Špela Dermol, dipl. graf. kom. (UN), graduated from the University of Ljubljana with a degree in Information and Graphic Arts Technology. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in digital media, user interfaces and design. Participating as an active member of Erasmus+ project teams at the International School of Social and Business Studies in Slovenia, she has also become involved in the MicPlaPROB project team, where she offers support from her area of expertise as well as continuing to further deepen her knowledge with an emphasis on digital media, multidisciplinary connections and lifelong learning.

Fakulteta za varstvo okolja (https://www.vsvo.si/) – Faculty of Environmental Protection (FVO) is an independent higher education institution founded in 2006. The undergraduate first-level Bologna study programme Environmental Protection and Eco technologies was accredited in 2007. In 2011, the FVO acquired accreditation to perform the postgraduate second-level Bologna study programme. The FVO offers a contemporary interdisciplinary study programme within environmental sciences in the broadest sense of the word, and its operation is intertwined with the fields of natural, technical, biotechnical, social sciences and humanities. In the academic year 2019-2020, the undergraduate programme was renewed to offer even more current, diverse, and professional content on environmental and nature conservation topics. The research work is focused on targeted research and applied projects, projects for specific stakeholders, and with special emphasis on the involvement of students with the aim to strengthen their professional and general competencies.

Gašper Gantar

dr Gašper GANTAR

Gašper Gantar, PhD is a managing director of the Environmental Protection College (EPC) and the Dean of the College of Industrial Engineering. As an Assistant professor on the filed of Manufacturing technologies and systems he participates in the implementation of many study programs and is highly qualified in the field of LCA (Life-cycle assessment) analysis. He is the author or co-author of more than 100 Slovenian and international publications. During his professional career he participated in more than 300 research and industrial projects, has constantly been acquiring additional knowledge in Slovenia and abroad and has been awarded several prizes for his work. He defended his doctoral thesis entitled »Increasing the stability of the deep drawing process by simulation-based optimization« at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of University of Ljubljana and afterwards gained his experiences as a managing director of Slovenian Tool and Die Development Centre – TECOS and a Head of Environmental Projects at the company ENVITA, d.o.o. He worked as the head of the research group and was responsible for various national and international research projects regarding development of new products and production engineering.

dr Anja BUBIK

Anja Bubik obtained her PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Ljubljana, Medical Faculty on the thesis titled »Ecological, biological and biochemical effects of selected non-hepatotoxic cyclic cyanobacterial peptides (n-hCCP)«. She currently holds a position as a Senior Lecturer at the Environmental Protection College (EPC), where she deals with environmental issues in the field of natural and anthropogenic pollutants, water ecosystems quality, in silico toxicology health hazard assessment and environmental sustainability. As a head of the EPC laboratory she also takes care of the implementation of new research and teaching techniques, development of students' research skills and participates in many applied and awareness-raising projects. She is trained and skilled in ecotoxicology, biochemistry and molecular biology with more than 10 years of experience in in vitro cell research, analytical chemistry techniques and teaching laboratory practices. In the company Torias d.o.o. she participates in preparation of health hazard assessment monographs of active pharmaceutical ingredients based on preclinical and clinical data evaluation.

Centre for Legal Informatics Studies – Taranto Observatory works as a NGO and is a part of the network CSIG Italy (20 associations). CSIG Taranto is a centre for research in the field of new technologies and its impact on our life and social dimension. It studies the social role of technology and every form of social inclusion mediated by technology.

CSIG Taranto works close with the University of Bari; together they have organized two editions of a Master Course in Information Technology and Law. Together they are publishing International Journal of Law and Digital Society.

dr Augusto SEBASTIO

Dr. Augusto Sebastio, director of the Centre for Legal Informatics Studies – Taranto Observatory in Italy, is a Lawyer specialized in IT and Immigration Law, holds Ph.D. in “Globalization, human rights, and fundamental freedom”. He works in the Program of Internationalization of the University of Bari-Faculty of Law in Taranto, a lecturer at various Universities in Italy (Florence, Bari, Lecce) and many Master Programs in Italian Universities; main topics are Human rights, Information Technology, Social-networking, E-government, sustainability. Within his research work he is publishing in international scientific journals. He is Vice-editor of the Review International Journal Law and Tax. He is involved in several international projects on EU integration, social inclusion, education, entrepreneurship, sustainability and internationalisation.

dr Aleš TRUNK

Dr. Aleš Trunk is employed as lecturer, researcher and postdoctoral fellow at the International School of Social and Business Studies in Slovenia and researcher and expert at the Centre for Legal Informatics Studies – Taranto Observatory in Italy. Within his research work he is publishing in international scientific journals, he focuses on the area of the multiculturality, labour market, corporate finance and entrepreneurial skills and financial literacy. He is very skilled in using ICT: he has prepared various interactive e-materials and has offered technical support for Moodle e-classrooms for various courses/trainings. He is currently involved in several Erasmus+ projects. He is also member of many editorial boards of international scientific journals.

Also cooperating with us in the project:

Vocational College of Traffic and Transport Maribor is the first higher vocational college for traffic and transport in Slovenia. It currently offers three 2-year study programmes in the areas of logistics, environmental science and economics. Their students of the Environmental Engineering Programme will be included in the project, under the leadership of their lecturers, mag. Vlasta Ojsteršek and mag. Vanja Kajzer.
