At the Career Fair in the SAŠA region of Slovenia, the Faculty of Environmental Protection presented the profession of Ecotechnologist, showing how this career tackles key environmental challenges of our future.
The team focused on plastic awareness, explaining and demonstrating what happens to plastic left in nature, how microplastics form, and how to recognize plastic in everyday life. Visitors also explored topics such as recycling, reducing plastic use, and whether we can sometimes say “no” to plastic.
By introducing the ecotechnologist’s role, we showed how science and technology can inspire youth to protect the environment.
