Plastic Free July is over. Good habits can continue.

Plastic Free July was not about removing all plastic from our lives overnight. Its main purpose was to help us look more closely at our everyday habits, recognize unnecessary single-use plastic items, and test simple alternatives that can become part of our routine.

Throughout July, as part of the EDU4PlastiCircular project, we shared practical challenges for reducing plastic use and supporting more responsible choices.

Here are some habits we can carry forward:

💧 Use a reusable water bottle.
🛍️ Keep a reusable bag in your backpack, car, or handbag.
🥪 Prepare lunch without single-use plastic packaging.
☕ Bring your own cup or choose to drink coffee in the café.
🧴 Choose bathroom products with less packaging or refill options.
👕 Wear clothes longer, wash them only when needed, and check material composition when buying new items.
♻️ Remember that recycling is important, but preventing waste is even better.
🛒 Before buying, compare two similar products and choose the one with less packaging.

The most important step is not perfection. It is consistency.

👉 Final challenge: choose at least one habit from Plastic Free July that you will continue in August and beyond.

We protect the environment with knowledge, responsible choices, and action.
