Education for Sustainable Plastic Management Presented at OLPWG Meeting in Sri Lanka

From December 2–5, 2025, the EDU4Plastic project was presented during the Online Learning Platform Working Group (OLPWG) Meeting held in Matara, Sri Lanka. The presentation introduced EDU4Plastic as an initiative focused on education for sustainability, innovation, and responsible plastic management.

The event took place within the framework of the NSIS project – Developing Information, Research and Digital Skills for Business, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in India, Sri Lanka and Nepal, which is co-funded by the European Union. The meeting brought together international experts, educators, and project partners committed to advancing digital skills and innovative learning approaches.

Presenting EDU4Plastic in this international context enabled valuable exchanges on how digital education platforms can support sustainable development goals, particularly in addressing plastic-related challenges through education and innovation.

We are grateful to the organizers and international colleagues for the inspiring discussions and their openness to future collaboration. Events like this reinforce the importance of global cooperation in strengthening education for sustainability and responsible plastic management.
