EDU4PlastiCircular Presented at Óbuda University in Budapest

The EDU4PlastiCircular project was recently presented at Óbuda University in Budapest, Hungary, bringing together experts and academics to discuss one of today’s most complex environmental challenges: micro- and nanoplastics.

The session focused on an interdisciplinary exchange with ergonomists, making the discussion both a challenge and an honour for the project team. Exploring micro- and nanoplastics from an ergonomics perspective opened new angles on how plastics affect not only the environment, but also workplace design, management, and human well-being in the modern plastic-driven world.

A key part of the debate addressed workplace management aspects, considering how plastic materials, exposure risks, and circular economy principles can be better integrated into organizational practices. Participants actively contributed by proposing solutions and innovative design approaches, demonstrating the value of cross-disciplinary collaboration.

This important dissemination activity was carried out within the framework of Universitatea Politehnica Timișoara’s EDU4PlastiCircular actions. Special congratulations go to Prof. Anca Draghici for initiating and supporting this valuable exchange at Óbuda University.
