In February 2026, the EDU4PlastiCircular project was disseminated during the UPSCALE Experts Workshop No. 2 hosted at the University of Eswatini. The workshop gathered experts, universities, and policymakers from Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa to discuss graduate employability tracking and dual higher-education models.
Representing DERMOL svetovanje d.o.o., Alenka Dermol, Valerij Dermol, and Å pela Dermol introduced the EDU4PlastiCircular initiative to participants during discussions and networking sessions.
The two-day workshop (26–27 February 2026), held at the IDE Lecture Theatre on the Kwaluseni Campus, included presentations on graduate employability practices in Europe and Africa, national employability profiles, and international models of dual higher education.
During the event, the DERMOL team presented the goals of the EDU4PlastiCircular project, which focuses on developing green skills, promoting circular economy practices related to plastics, and creating innovative digital learning tools, including an e-learning platform for higher education.
The dissemination helped raise awareness of the project among international higher-education institutions and opened opportunities for future collaboration in sustainability education and circular economy initiatives.
