Two high-impact and innovative projects — ProPla – Proteins from Plastic and EDU4PlastiCircular – Education for Plastic in a Circular and Climate-Neutral Economy — were recently spotlighted at the SIM25 Conference, “Optimizing the Future: Management Innovation for a Sustainable World.”
Though approaching the challenge from different angles, both projects share a common mission: advancing circular and sustainable plastics.
- ProPla focuses on scientific innovation, developing biotechnological processes that transform microplastics into valuable bio-based products.
- EDU4PlastiCircular – our project, focuses on education and skills, preparing a new generation of professionals capable of designing, managing, and communicating circular plastic systems.
Together, they represent the synergy between research and education—science driving innovation and learning shaping future action.
