EDU4plastic Learning Course Promoted to Master Materials Students at UPV

As part of the EDU4plastic project, partners from UPV Valencia recently promoted the EDU4plastic learning course to Master’s students in Materials Engineering. The activity aimed to raise awareness of plastic sustainability, circular economy principles, and the growing challenges related to plastic waste and microplastics.

The session introduced students to the structure and objectives of the EDU4plastic learning course, highlighting how material choices, design decisions, and innovation play a crucial role in reducing plastic pollution. Students were encouraged to reflect on how circular approaches can be integrated into advanced materials research and industrial applications.

By engaging Master Materials students, EDU4plastic strengthens the connection between academic knowledge and real-world environmental challenges, supporting the development of future professionals equipped to design more sustainable plastic solutions.

Through initiatives like this at UPV Valencia, the EDU4plastic project continues to promote education as a key driver for plastic circularity and long-term environmental impact.
