EDU4PlastiCircular at RMEE2026 | Digital Learning for Circular Economy

On 17–18 September 2026, the EDU4PlastiCircular project was actively promoted within the RMEE2026 community, bringing together education, sustainability and practical learning.

A highlight of the dissemination activities was a demo lesson of the EDU4PlastiCircular digital learning environment, designed for different categories of learners, including university students, teaching staff, researchers and professionals from companies. The project’s digital resources support the development of green skills and knowledge related to plastics, circular economy and climate neutrality.

Anca Draghici and the Universitatea Politehnica Timisoara team of trainers were actively involved in training sessions with teaching staff, young researchers and PhD students from universities across Romania.

The sessions created an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences, ideas and knowledge around key themes such as Education for Sustainable Development, Circular Economy, Green Skills, Ecology, practical projects and community involvement.

The EDU4PlastiCircular experience at RMEE2026 once again showed the value of connecting universities, researchers, educators and communities in building a more sustainable future.

Learning, sharing and acting together can help accelerate the transition towards a greener and more circular economy.
