As part of the EDU4PlastiC Erasmus+ project, Luis Sánchez, a student in the Master’s Degree in Engineering, Processing and Characterization of Materials at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), is carrying out practical 3D printing activities using both recycled and virgin polymers.
The hands-on work allows students to compare the performance and processing characteristics of different polymer materials while gaining practical experience in additive manufacturing. These activities support the objectives of the EDU4PlastiC project by promoting sustainable materials, circular economy principles, and innovative learning experiences in plastics engineering.
Through initiatives like this, UPV continues to equip future engineers with the knowledge and practical skills needed to contribute to a more sustainable and resource-efficient plastics industry.
