Edu4PlastiC and TIIAME Join Forces to Advance Water Sustainability and Plastic Waste Reduction in Uzbekistan

Edu4PlastiC and TIIAME National Research University have launched a collaboration to promote sustainable water management, reduce single-use plastic waste, and strengthen environmental education among students and local communities across Uzbekistan.

Through educational programmes, research initiatives, and community engagement activities, the partnership encourages responsible water consumption while supporting efforts to reduce plastic pollution. The collaboration contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).

“Water and plastic pollution are interconnected global challenges that require collaborative solutions. By educating future professionals, we can foster the development of practical solutions that benefit both society and the environment.”

Together, Edu4PlastiC and TIIAME are reinforcing the role of education and international cooperation in building more sustainable and resilient communities.
