At the Faculty of Environmental Protection, as part of the course “People and Environment,” we conducted the #EDU4PlastiCircular workshop, where we introduced students to the issue of synthetic textile fibres in our clothing. During the workshop, we weighed 6.5 kg of clothing, 43% of which contained synthetic textile fibres.
Students learned about the issues and interesting facts about microplastics from clothing and presented their learning and thoughts on the subject on posters. These posters are already adorning the walls of the faculty, raising awareness of the importance of this issue among other students.
