The EDU4Plastic project was recently featured on the blog of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), highlighting an enriching academic event held on November 27.
On this occasion, UPV welcomed Eng. Alberto Pietro Damiano Baltrocchi from the Università degli Studi dell’Insubria, Italy. An expert in environmental sustainability, Professor Baltrocchi conducted a master class on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) analysis for students enrolled in UPV’s Master in Industrial Processes and Product Creation Management (muipcm) program.
The session provided UPV students with a deep understanding of LCA methodologies and their role in tackling global environmental challenges, particularly in sustainable plastic management. This aligns with the broader goals of EDU4Plastic, a project dedicated to promoting education and innovation in the field of sustainable plastics.
The recognition from UPV reflects the university’s commitment to advancing knowledge and fostering collaboration within impactful initiatives like EDU4Plastic. The project team extends gratitude to Professor Baltrocchi for his insightful contribution and to UPV for showcasing the event.
