The EDU4PlastiCircular project aims to enhance the ecological skills of educators, students, and staff in higher education by promoting eco-friendly practices and plastic awareness within the circular and neutral economy, contributing to the EU’s digital transformation. Key objectives include developing innovative training methods and a best practices framework, and publishing open training materials and an e-learning platform to improve the skills of at least 200 students.
Partners include institutions from Romania, Slovenia, Spain, and Italy, with Professor Santiago Ferrándiz leading the project at UPV’s Alcoy Campus.
Activities:
- Collecting and publishing best practices in plastic usage for a circular economy.
- Developing curriculum, digital library, and innovative training materials.
- Preparing e-learning resources and conducting MOOCs for 200 students and 28 trainers.
- Creating online badges/certificates.
- Ensuring the sustainability of the EDU4PlastiCircular initiative.
Expected Outcomes:
The project will produce a best practices report, digital library, innovative curriculum, e-learning platform, and digital badges/certificates, enhancing ecological skills related to plastics in the circular economy.
